I have a love hate relationship with clay. i love pots, their functionlity and how a good pot owns the space its in.I am inspred by the African pot making tradition, form and functionality. i have a long way to go Ive sort of fell into making pots over the last 8 years again i like the univesality of pots and how when form and surface design are hamonious the pot speaks volumes. i have concentrated on hand building smoke fired functional pots drawing on the African pottery tradition.
